Over at Ashedit, the inimitable Elaine Ash has a sort of behind-the-scenes post up about DEAD HARVEST, focusing the fateful day I got the deal, as well as on my snazzy, snazzy cover design. Angry Robot marketing guru Darren Turpin pops in for a quote or two, as does Martin Stiff of Amazing 15, aka the man behind the artwork for the series. So what're you waiting for? Go check it out.
Thanks to Elaine for having me, and to Darren and Martin for being such good sports.

Hey Chris! What is so impressive is the care Angry Robot is taking with DEAD HARVEST. The book is no longer "yours." Your back-up team has taken it on as "theirs" and are giving it all the attention and care that they would anything of value that they called "their own." These are green shoots of a successful book in the making. Jennifer really struck gold when she landed Angry Robot for you.

I couldn't agree more on that count. I've spoken to a lot of writers, and you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone who's gotten more support from their publisher than have I. I'm dying to see what comes of their fledgling YA imprint, and their planned crime imprint.
Very nice. I can't wait to read the book!
Thanks, Stephen! Hope you enjoy it!
